            The short version: Habiloop collects zero personal data. No accounts, no
            tracking, no analytics, no servers. Everything you create lives only on your device and is never shared with
            anyone — including us.
        

1. Who We Are

Habiloop is a free, offline-first habit tracking app built for iOS and Android. It is an independent project with no company or organization behind it.

2. Data We Collect

We collect absolutely nothing. Specifically:

No personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
No account or sign-in system of any kind
No usage analytics or crash reporting
No advertising identifiers
No location data
No health or biometric data

All your habit data — habits, streaks, completions, and reminder times — is stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device. It never leaves your phone.

3. Local Notifications

If you choose to enable reminders, Habiloop uses your device's built-in notification system to schedule local notifications. These are triggered entirely on-device — no data is sent to any server. The times you set are stored locally alongside your habit data.

You can opt out of notifications at any time from within the app or from your device's system settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Habiloop does not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect data. There are no analytics services, advertising networks, or social login providers. The app has no internet connection requirement whatsoever.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any data — because we don't have any. The only way data leaves your device is if you explicitly choose to export it yourself using the built-in CSV export feature, at which point you control it entirely.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can delete all data at any time using the "Reset All Progress" option in Settings. Uninstalling the app will also remove all locally stored data.

7. Children's Privacy

Habiloop is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there are no special considerations for users under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR).

8. Your Rights

Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. All data is under your full control on your own device.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be made available through the app's Privacy Policy link in Settings. Changes will always be reflected with an updated effective date above.
